Tuesday night I was talking with my friend Anne online and she told me that Bump had passed away of a heart attack. Bump was an older man that we both worked with for two years at the store in my town, he was kind of like our boss' right hand man and would often be our supervisor but he never acted like he was above us, he acted like a friend...we were saying that often when people pass away everyone says how nice they were and what a great person they were, but for Bump that doesnt even begin to describe him. He had such a youthful, fun spirit...he would always come up front when his elderly mother came in (she has since passed away) to give her a kiss, check her out, carry her groceries to the car and walk with her, arms linked, to the car...everyone that came in would have to go back to the store to talk to Bump...he would always be making jokes to make our time at work more enjoyable...his face would light up everytime he talked about his long time girlfriend Jeannie...everyone loved and enjoyed being around him...it is such a loss for our little community...unfortunately I will not be able to get home for his services, but maybe thats for the best, I usually dont do well at funerals and selfishly, I want my memories of him to stay as they are...
*We all miss you Bumper and will always keep you in our hearts*
